Larry Dearing blogs about website management tips and techniques, website development fundamentals, and website promotion strategiesThe purpose of this site is to provide an online resource center for the website and computing needs for our friends, clients and community neighbors.  We will attempt to assemble usfull articles and other internet resources to aid in building a strong web presence, with an emphasis is web development, promotion, and web hosting strategies, along with information on business and personal computing. 

In addition to several professional positions in the IT field ranging from Senior Support Technician to Network Administrator, I have also been active in supporting the computer and technology consulting needs of the Marietta and North Atlanta small business - home business community for many years.  Throughout the years I have developed an extensive background in all areas of networking and computing support.

In responding to more and more requests by clients and friends for help and advice in getting their particular business' or organization's message onto the web, I started providing web design, promotion, hosting, and consulting services as an addition to my portfolio.  In 2005 I founded Navisouth Hosting and Web Services which was rebranded in 2008 as Web Marietta.   Our retail website services project and partner Posthadow.com was also founded in 2005 to provide online do-it-yourself website products.

Though still active in IT support and related project management, I find myself focusing more on aiding my clients in achieving an effective web presence through the careful implementation of the best practices in website development, management, and promotion.
